An attractive repeating carriage clock, striking the hours and half hours on a blued steel goal, which gives a lovely mellow chime. The movement backplate stamped number 48. The cream chapter ring with Arabic numerals within a gilt mask, signed Payne & Co, 160 New Bond Street, London and Paris, within a corniche style brass case. Measurements with handle up. Ht 17, W 9, D 8 cms.
