Repeating carriage clock, circa 1890

£950.00

One of the nicest carriage clocks we have had for sometime. A good and large example, with a gilt mask and enamel dial with fretted hands and gilt Roman numerals. The eight day movement, striking the hours and a half hour on a blue steeled gong, giving a lovely mellow chime. The whole Clock exudes quality with its impressive reeded pillars with Corinthian capitals over a stepped moulded base. A clock of this quality would only have been made for one of the finest of homes. Ht 19.5
