Good and large cathedral skeleton clock circa 1860

A fine Victorian cathedral skeleton clock, inspired by York minster. The eight day twin Fusee movement striking the hours on a gong and half hours on a bell. The hours can be repeated by pulling a cord. This clock is in fine and untampered original condition with everything as it should be. It has recently been fully serviced. The clock is displayed in a glass cabinet which gives this spectacular clock the look of a museum piece. Standing 60 cm high to the bell spire. Complete with the original rod pendulum, a precision spirit level, cleaning brush and winder. Ht 60, W 45, D 25 cms.
