A most attractive and useful carved Padouk Chinese desk. The detachable upper section has an arrangement of four drawers and cupboard over a writing surface fitted with a frieze drawer. The pedestal fitted with two drawers on supports united by a platform stretcher. The whole piece is in fantastic original condition, having been professionally cleaned waxed and buffed to a high finish. There is a further small shelving section which can be inserted in the centre should it be required. Ht 115, W 81, D 56 cms.
