Edwardian telescopic standard lamp circa 1910

£375.00

A good and most decorative telescopic standard lamp, the Corinthian column has an adjustable height between 170 CM and 140 CM from the base to the socket. It stands on a stepped plinth with the lions paw feet, which conceals a very heavy cast iron base. This is a very well-made lamp made from a heavy gauge brass, which has a beautiful mellow colour unlike the brassy reproductions of today. The lamp has been decommissioned (wiring removed) that can be rewired should the customer require it. Ht 170 cms.
