A very large Music Box, the hinged lid and front inlaid with floral marquetry opening to a glazed dust cover revealing the cylinder movement with bells in sight. This box plays 12 various 19th-century airs which can be played individually or repeated in a continuous loop at will. The bells can be played or disengaged and give a lovely tingling accompaniment. The case has been professionally cleaned, buffed and polished to a very fine finish and acts as a decorative piece of furniture in its own right. Ht 24, W 62, D 32 cms.
