A very rare example, with a unique provenance. The arched top carved Tempus Fugit, with finials over an arched dial, with strike/silent and Westminster/Whittington chime subsidiary dials. The foliate central dial with a subsidiary second dial, within a silver chapter ring, with applied Arabic numerals. The 8-day movement striking on 8 rods, giving a lovely mellow chime, with the hours striking on massive coiled gong. The case is most decorative and unique and possible one-off design.
