Outstanding pair of ormolu lamps, circa 1875

A good and large pair of most decorative lamps, the very weighty bases would indicate that these would originally have been oil lamps and converted to electricity in the Edwardian period, say around 1900. No photographic image of this outstanding pair of Lamps could do them justice. They remain in original unclean condition, having come straight from a property. These lamps would suit a variety of rooms and certainly make a statement and wood enhance the decor of a fine home. Ht 45 cms.
