A good and large striking wall Clock 50 inches tall. The double weighted movement of eight day duration striking the hours on a gong giving a pleasant strike. As can be seen in the illustrations, the case is a well grained walnut with ebonised detail, giving a very light appearance rather than the darker mahogany versions. This Clock is a rare survivor of 150 years complete with all its original finials and components and has obviously been well loved and maintained by its previous custodian and comes in working order.
