A most decorative Victorian miniature after Sassoferrato painted on porcelain, contained in a carved Florentine gilt frame. The original being in the National Gallery. The miniature is in amazingly good condition being a survivor of over 100 years with no cracks, chips or abrasions due to over cleaning.
